Company director Charlie Boyes has, once again agreed to run in next years Brighton Marathon for his sins, and in doing so he hopes to raise as much cash for his chosen charity, The Stroke Association.

The Fire Warden and First Aid trainer has run in the last two Brighton Marathons and has racked up times of 4hrs 13 mins and 4hrs 20 secs respectively so far and is desperate to break the 4hr barrier the next time out!  Whilst not getting any younger he has made the bold statement that he feels that he has the ability to complete the run in less than 4hrs and is hopeful to get near to his 3hrs 45min goal!  A brave statement many would say but he has started his training regime earlier this year and is extremely committed to the task!  His chosen charity, The Stroke Association has provided him with his place and he is keen to raise much needed funds for this worthy cause.  Charlie’s Mother in law was hit down by a stroke almost a year ago so he is keen to try and do his bit and raise awareness as best he can.  There will soon be a link added here if you wish to donate and help Charlie meet his target.  In the meantime, if you see Charlie during his training stage, give him a shout as he will more than likely need a much need push along!!
